Our Fees are set in-line with the recommendations of the Australian Psychological Society
General Fee schedule
Sessions are billed on a sliding scale, depending on the referral pathway and the type of service required. Please contact us to discuss the most appropriate billing for your circumstances.
Medicare Rebate
Clinical Psychologist: $145.25 rebate per eligible session.
Registered Psychology: $98.95 rebate per eligible session.
Couple session: A minimum of 90 minutes is recommended for couples counselling sessions to allow adequate time for assessment, discussion, and intervention.
Letters and Reports: Fees for letters and reports vary depending on the nature and complexity of the request. Please discuss this with your psychologist before requesting this service.
*We do not undertake court services nor provide legal reports.
NDIS clients Fees schedule
Top Care Psychology provides services to NDIS clients. Fees for NDIS clients depend on the support and services Top Care Psychology provides for them. This will be charge in accordance with the fees stipulated by NDIS.
Employment Assisted Program (EAP)
Top Care Psychology provides EAP services for all employees of the NTG department/agencies at no cost to the employees and their family members.
Rebates & Private Health
You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate with a valid GP mental health plan referral. Please ensure you provide us with your GP referral before your appointment.
You may also be eligible to make a claim for psychology services through your private health fund. For more information, contact your private health fund provider to establish whether you are covered.
Note: You are not permitted to claim through Medicare and private health insurance for the same appointment; only one or the other.
Terms
Top Care Psychology accepts credit or debit payments. Ensure there is enough funds in your account for payment processing. If you are having problems with processing your payment, contact us immediately to avoid cancellation of your appointment.
The fee is processed automatically before your appointment. An invoice will be automatically issued to you. If applicable, your Medicare rebate claim will be automatically sent to Medicare, and your rebate will be credited directly to your nominated account.
